How to help the kids in your life that are dealing with PTSD after an apocalypse
Posted On June 18, 2021
It’s time to give kids a break from the stressful life they’re living in.
It’s the same reason I was going to the mall for my birthday.
It was a chance to take in some new sights, to experience a new music festival, and to be free of the pressure of trying to be perfect.
So, I decided to start a new Facebook group.
In the first year, I got about a dozen new friends, and within a few months, I had about 50.
The goal was to give them a place to connect and have a safe space where they could express themselves and be safe from the pressures that have plagued them during the past two weeks.
The group has been really successful and I’m really grateful for all the people that I’ve been able to connect with.
I have a few friends that have been coming to the Facebook group almost every day, and I know that it has helped me.
For me, it’s been very important to keep it open and free from the stresses that I feel and have been dealing with since Sunday.
The stressors that have come with being the only parent in your home or having no one to talk to when you need them are so great.
I’m not saying that everyone should get into a group, but it’s something that people should try to get involved in.
