If you’ve ever wondered how to play video games with a stick, then you may be surprised to learn that there are a few different ways to play it.
You can play Overwatch using a controller, a controller with a touchscreen, or a controller without a touchscreen.
You can also play Overwatch on a tablet, but you will need to purchase a tablet controller to use it.
In this article, we’ll walk you through the process of playing Overwatch using an Xbox controller.
The first step is to download the official Overwatch beta, which is available now on the Xbox Store.
This beta includes two maps, both of which are familiar Overwatch favourites: “The Last Bastion” and “Lighthouse”.
Once you’ve downloaded the Overwatch beta onto your Xbox, you’ll need to install the Overwatch app onto your console.
It will then open up a launcher, which can be found on the bottom right hand corner of your Xbox One console’s home screen.
Select the launcher, and it will then download the Overwatch patch and a launcher menu.
Select “Play Overwatch”, then select the “Patch” option.
If you haven’t already, you will be asked to set a password.
Enter it and your Xbox will ask you a series of questions.
You will be taken to the Overwatch dashboard, where you can check out your current health, damage, shields and damage resistance.
If you are a new player, you can also access your character stats and a list of all the characters you have unlocked in the Overwatch game.
Once you have the Overwatch update downloaded, you should now be able to access the Overwatch menu by selecting the “Settings” option in the bottom left hand corner.
Open the Overwatch settings menu and you can change your settings.
Here you can configure your mouse cursor settings, as well as your controller’s sensitivity.
If your console doesn’t support the new Xbox buttons, you may also want to turn off the “F1-F9” and the “Pause” buttons.
Next, select the menu “Settings”.
Here you can disable the “Xbox Button-Down” feature, and you will then be able see the menu options for the “Button-Up” and/or “Xbox Gamepad” features.
Select the “Gamepad” option, and then select “Settings”, and you should see a section titled “Input”.
You will need the Xbox button to use the Xbox Gamepad.
Now you can turn on the “input” menu.
You will then need to select “Display Input” and you are presented with a list with two options: “Gamepads 1,2,3,4” or “Xbox One” or Xbox One”.
Choose the “1” option to play on your Xbox one controller, and choose the “2” option for use on your console, which will use your existing Xbox One controller.
The “Xbox” option is for your controller and is required to play online.
Finally, select “Play” from the Xbox Menu and you’re ready to go.
The second method is for players who want to play with a tablet.
Once you have downloaded the official beta on your PC, you need to update your Steam client and install the latest patch.
Once the update is installed, you must then download a tablet version of the Overwatch Beta.
You will also need to download and install a custom recovery, which you can download from the official Blizzard website.
Once the update has been installed, follow the onscreen prompts to update to the latest version of Overwatch on your device.
This method will allow you to use your console controller with your tablet.
The final method is the simplest one.
You need to use an external keyboard or mouse.
If this is your first time playing Overwatch, you’re more than welcome to try out the new “console-style” controls.
For those who don’t want to have to rely on an external controller, you might also want the option to use a tablet keyboard and mouse.
However, if you are using a tablet to play, you would need to go into the settings of your device and turn on “Xbox Play”.
You can also select a tablet app, which may allow you a little more freedom.
Lastly, you have a few other options for playing Overwatch on the tablet.
If that’s not your thing, you could also download a gamepad-based game.
All of these methods should work on any device, and will work on most Xbox One consoles.
