‘It’s a nightmare’: Beavers are dying due to COVID-19

By Chris D’Angelo, Fox News staff reporterDecember 12, 2018–The death toll from coronavirus in California continues to rise, with more than 200 cases reported in the state in the last week alone.
The state’s Department of Public Health reports that there have been 831 confirmed cases of COVID, including 824 cases in the Golden State so far.
More than 1,000 people have died from COVID.
According to the state, the virus is spreading at a rapid pace and it has been confirmed in all 50 states.
In the latest state-by-state update, the CDC said the virus has already infected an estimated 10.6 million people worldwide, and the majority of the cases are in the Americas.CDC Director Tom Frieden told the House Appropriations Committee Thursday that the nation’s coronaviral burden has reached “an unprecedented level” and has exceeded 2.2 trillion dollars.
But the virus, Frieden said, “has no known cure.”
