Microsoft will release its new Surface Pro 2 on September 23, 2019, the company announced today.
The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 1080p display.
The tablet will cost $999, or $200 less than its predecessor, the Surface Pro, which retailed at $2,499.
Microsoft has said that it will also introduce a new Surface Book, a thinner laptop with a smaller battery and higher-resolution display.
We don’t know much more about the new Surface Pros beyond that, other than it will feature a new Intel Core i5-7200U processor, a 1TB hard drive, a 64GB storage option, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card.
The Surface Book will retail for $1,499, the GeForce GTX 1070 will be $2.99, and the Nvidia 1050 Ti will be for $2 and $3, respectively.
Microsoft also released a teaser video today, showing off the Surface Book.
