The first season of Trap Shooter, which was aired from 2017 to 2019 on the Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim channel, was one of the most critically acclaimed shows on TV, even before it came to the US.
The show’s premise was that you were trapped in a haunted house by an evil family, but you could only fight back by playing a role in an apocalyptic showdown with a giant monster.
It didn’t take long for the show to be cancelled by Adult Swim, which had previously shown interest in the show, and its revival was met with mixed reviews.
In one of his first interviews, however, the series creator, Rob Corddry, spoke out about the show’s success, and he didn’t hesitate to admit that the show would be missed by fans of the genre.
“You’ve got this huge audience of people that want to see that,” he said.
“But I do think that the way the audience is now, they want to watch that.
It was just a matter of whether or not they’d want to sit through the whole thing. “

“It’s the best of the best, I don. “
So it’s definitely not something that I’m gonna give up.””

Corddry went on to praise the show for its diversity of themes, and for its focus on social commentary.
“I think it’s about the human condition, I think it is about humanity, I do,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.
“There’s always room for this show to explore that stuff, and that’s why it’s so important to me.”
But the series was criticised for its treatment of gender stereotypes, and it was eventually pulled from the Adult Swim library due to “safety concerns”.
The first Season Two was a bit of a departure from the rest of the series, and the series didn’t go as far as to tackle the subject of gender equality in the future.
“We’re talking about women as victims, which I think is so important, and we’re talking to people, and I think we need to make sure that those things are addressed,” Corddry said.
“That’s what makes us special, that’s what separates us from all the other shows out there, and you know, we’re all going to be doing that for a while.””
